Dear Graham
I hope you have forgiven me for opening the door and bursting into tears. The first sight of the restored piano was overwhelming:it was so beautiful, and it had been such a wreck when i first saw it.
It did have a wonderful tone even then, and i could see the beautiful flame figuring in the mahogany when you pointed it out,but it required a great deal of trust on my part when you said it would be a wonderful instrument when finished well it is, and Iam overjoyed with it,and proud to be able to fund its restoration.
Thank you and all your team, for my beatiful piano. Iam absolutely thrilled

Welcome to the Bedhampton Pianoshop Blog!
We have been restoring and selling pianos since 1988. We specialise in restoring and reconditioning old pianos, both upright and grand. Our work ranges from minor servicing right through to complete overhauls and rebuilding projects which take many weeks to complete.
The aim of the blog is to post regular progress reports on ongoing restoration work, as well as updates on the current available stock and any new arrivals. Where possible these updates will be accompanied by photos to demonstrate the work that we do.

Dear Graham
Thought I would send you a picture of it in situ. Looks and sounds
lovely: you have done a splendid job. The touch is marvelous - the repetition in the middle of the keyboard is excellent now,the tone is stunning and the dynamic range fully justifies Steinway's quaint brand name for these instruments. It is a real joy to play (something that can rarely be said of an upright, or indeed of many grands).

thanks indeed for all your hard work, enthusiasm and expertise, and for the time you have spent seeing us, answering questions and keeping us informed of the work.
