Welcome to the Bedhampton Pianoshop Blog!
We have been restoring and selling pianos since 1988. We specialise in restoring and reconditioning old pianos, both upright and grand. Our work ranges from minor servicing right through to complete overhauls and rebuilding projects which take many weeks to complete.
The aim of the blog is to post regular progress reports on ongoing restoration work, as well as updates on the current available stock and any new arrivals. Where possible these updates will be accompanied by photos to demonstrate the work that we do.

Hi Graham,
Thanks for your email. I'm thrilled with the piano and the guys were great at getting it in. Thanks very much for all your help, I'll be in touch in a while to arrange the first tuning. Thanks again!
Kind regards,

Hi Graham,
Just a note to say thank you for setting up the contact with the piano tuner and of course a huge thank you for my wonderful new piano! I'm enjoying it so much and am so happy with it. Thank you for all your advice and time the day we visited too.
Kind regards,
Sophie

Once again I must express my thanks to Graham and his team of experts at Bedhampton on the recent
re-stringing work carried out to my Street Piano with its unusual Mandoline tremolo action.
This is the third time I have entrusted an instrument to Graham and the team for remedial work
and I have to say that each time there has been much discussion beforehand and attention to the
details of the project to ensure a satisfactory finished job of the work in hand.
Also special thanks are due to Harry for his attention and expertise when tuning the new strings
as it was his first excursion into the mechanics of a barrel - piano , with non - chromatic scale,
lower than standard pitch , duplication of octave in the middle range and all without a keyboard
to guide him !
Graham's knowledge in piano technology is extensive with many years experience under his belt.
I have every confidence in his ability to carry out restoration work to the highest standards
and will certainly be contacting him again for any future restoration projects.
By that token I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending to others.
